Hazel has been working as a nurse for twenty years. She has varied experience in the field of nursing and has worked in three different countries. She has worked as a Haemodialysis Nurse in the Philippines and as a cardiology nurse in The Netherlands, for which she is proficient in Dutch language, before she joined to work for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2004.

In the Trust Hazel has been a deputy sister in AAU, then later became a recovery nurse in the DTC. She joined the Southern Haemophilia Network as a clinical nurse specialist in September 2015.

Outside of work, her activities rallies around her family and friends. She loves to travel and explore new surroundings.
