QRS Rates Service Safe and Excellent

The Quality Review Service (QRS) and United Kingdom Haemophilia Centres Doctors’ Organisation (UKHCDO) today released the full report of their review of the Basingstoke Comprehensive Care Centre and Southern Haemophilia Network.

QRS is an independent, impartial provider of peer-to-peer review services and is accredited by UKAS. In March 2019 their team were invited to review all aspects of the services of our centres and how our network performs. In the summary of the findings the team complimented the “safe, excellent service” provided by the Comprehensive Care Centre and commented on the “highly patient-centred and forward thinking” team lead by Clinical Director, Dr Sarah Mangles.

The Network’s “excellent functioning” was described as “particularly impressive” and the teamwork and support of our co-workers to provide patient services was mentioned in several parts of the report.

Dr Sarah Mangles, Clinical Director of the Centre and Network said “I am extremely proud of our Peer Review results. They are testament to the dedication and professionalism of our exceptional team who always put the patient at the centre of care and continually strive to improve the care we give to patients.”
